Haven't Posted

I am so sorry I haven't posted life has been hectic. My father had heart attack and is at risk for a stroke. He was on injectable blood thinners at discharge, guess who had the honors of learning how to use a syringe? Yup, ME! I have yet to catch up. I have been seriously under the weather and keeping a stiff upper lip for my fathers sake has been tough. I walk around with numerous totes. A handbag, a knitting bag and my meds bag. I am a bag lady, seriously. Getting my father regulated on a schedule for his meds was brutal. He is still not out of the woods yet, he says. He was out of town with my older sister visiting when it happened. I took off immediately to San Diego. My mother died when I was 11 and my father is both a mother and a father so its been frightening these past two weeks and my life is basically upside down. I am sorry I haven't had a chance to answer any comments please forgive me. I am really bummed out and physically in extreme pain. Hopefully I will have a happier post this weekend. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Cindy:

This is Melissa, your Halloween Swap partner. I can't believe you took time out of your life to put that package together!

As a fellow hospital knitter, I feel for you! My dad is getting out of the hospital on Monday (he's a double amputee and had complications with the last surgery). Hope your dad gets well soon.

OH sweetheart! I am so sorry to hear this. I often wonder how you are doing and I should email you more often. You are always in my prayers. I wish that you were feeling better these days. I've so hoped that things would improve.

You hang-in there, okay? Thinking of you...

You are officially in my thoughts and prayers. I hope everything calms down for you and I am late with your sockies, but not late anymore, because Rox extended the deadline. Give your dad a hug from me and as soon as the socks are done, I will priority them to you!
