grey for my son

I casted on a beanie for my son in this lovely wool cotton yarn, Okay! I admit I misplaced the label. I have a hard time when I wind the skeins into lovely yarn cakes I always lose those labels. I am trying to keep inventory on ravelry,  so right now its a mystery yarn other than by touch I can tell fabric content. All those years in the industry and the schooling some things I still know, big smile. It is one of those loose beanies some of the cool trendy young people are wearing now adays. I feel old... I made it for my college son who sometimes oversleeps and needs a dash outta the house bed head coverup. Love ya son

How True!

About Me

My Photo
Cindy
I am silly and I love to laugh, I love knitting and I am self taught knitter so I am always trying to improve and learn as much as I can. I believe chocolate or lemon bars are a cure all, I love to eat, I studied fashion, marketing and design, I love to go to thrift stores and find vintage cashmere sweaters to bring back to life to wear, I love my jeans, flip flops and cashmere. I enjoy dressing up too... I love perfume. Blue is my favorite color but I adore all colors. I am a yarn snob I don't care for acrylic yarn. I love the feel of natural fibers in my hand.

Apple Cozy

Apple Cozy
Such a green way to go. This great so when you toss a fruit into your handbag or backback it protects it from getting bruised or poked by a pen or a knitting needle. It is a better way to go than a plastic baggie. I made mine from cotton so I can toss it in the wash. I have made so many they have been a hit with friends and family and such a pretty way to carry a healthy snack. Find the pattern at gonnapurl.blogspot.com
