Here is a blurry picture of the goods I made and compiled for my pal. I am happy to say it all arrived and my buddy africankelli.blog.com likes her goodies. I made her a Amy Butler bag and used various Amy Butler fabrics. I did make it a tad bigger so she could tote around her projects. I ended up sending a variety of projects, since she seems to like to try new things. I sent the pattern I used as well to her. I sent some beads and various findings so she could try her hand at some stitch markers or whatever else tickled her fancy. I sent some tea-towels so she can of course make the current rage of aprons, but I did notice she did get on the band wagon prior to my box arriving, gheesh, great minds think alike, smile!
I am silly and I love to laugh, I love cooking and I am self taught so I am always trying to improve and learn as much as I can. I believe chocolate or lemon bars are a cure all, I love to eat, I studied fashion, marketing and design, I love to go to thrift stores and find vintage cashmere sweaters to bring back to life to wear, I love my jeans and flip flops. I enjoy dressing up too... I love perfume. Blue is my favorite color and I adore my family.
Such a green way to go. This great so when you toss a fruit into your handbag or backback it protects it from getting bruised or poked by a pen or a knitting needle. It is a better way to go than a plastic baggie. I made mine from cotton so I can toss it in the wash. I have made so many they have been a hit with friends and family and such a pretty way to carry a healthy snack. Find the pattern at gonnapurl.blogspot.com
